Valencia CF will play their Copa del Rey opener against CF La Nucía at 7 pm kick-off time at the Estadio Camilo Cano in the round of 32 of the Copa del Rey. This will be the first-ever meeting between these two sides.
CF La Nucía play in the third tier of Spanish football and they are coming into the round of 32 after having knocked out Hércules CF and UD Las Palmas in the preliminary rounds of the knockout competition.
Valencia CF will make a short trip to Alicante targeting to get off to a good start in the knockout competition in their first fixture of 2023 by coming away with a much-needed win at the expense of their neighbours.
